Our History

Powrmatic Limited is Europe's foremost manufacturer of commercial and industrial heating equipment and a leading specialist in natural, powered and smoke ventilation. Launched in the UK in 1949, the company operates from a purpose-built manufacturing and technical centre in Ilminster, Somerset supported by a UK-wide sales and service network. The company exports globally and provides complete energy efficient climate control solutions which have been proven in some of the world's most prestigious and demanding applications.
Over 60 years experience has also taken the company to the forefront of the ventilation industry, providing architects and specifiers with highly efficient, aesthetically designed and innovative products, for natural, smoke and powered ventilation applications.

Our equipment is designed and manufactured in the UK.

Present Day

We also have a sister company based in Dublin, Ireland.  Powrmatic Ireland have been operating a distribution network since 1997, providing our efficient heating and ventilation solutions throughout the country.
